Microsoft today at Gamescom during their press presentation announced the full launch lineup that potential buyers can look forward to one day one that the Xbox One releases, some which we guessed were titles, and some that we didn't know of and are a nice surprise like Peggle 2!
The lineup includes:
- Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag
- Battlefield 4
- Call of Duty: Ghosts
- Crimson Dragon
- Dead Rising 3
- FIFA 14
- Fighter Within
- Forza Motorsport 5
- Just Dance 2014
- Killer Instinct
- LEGO Marvel Super Heroes
- Lococycle
- Madden NFL 25
- NBA 2K14
- NBA LIVE 14
- Need for Speed: Rivals
- Peggle 2
- Powerstar Golf
- Ryse: Son of Rome
- Skylanders: Swap Force
- Watch Dogs
- Zoo Tycoon
- Zumba Fitness: World Party
It's not a bad looking lineup and of course a portion of the titles are multiplatform and some presumably downloadable only titles, but there's a nice selection there, my only disappointment is that the launch date didn't seem to come with the games which is what I was expecting most from Gamescom, so for now we'll have to make do with sometime in November.
What Microsoft have announced though is that all pre-order Xbox One consoles that launch in Europe this Christmas will include a digital version of FIFA 14 free of charge, which is great news for all the FIFA fans out there. They also announced an exclusive bundle for launch which will be sold through GAME and include Call of Duty: Ghosts and some bonus content that is exclusive to Xbox One.
