The biggest change in TS2015 is the TS Academy that will teach you to drive all types of train and earn licences as you go from beginner to pro, master different tasks and learn realistic train operations.
For those coming to Train Simulator 2015 with fresh eyes you’ll get to experience local lines like the London to Peterborough East Coast Mainline route using the First Capital Connect Class 365 and the Hitachi Class 801 which won’t be in service until 2018!
It wouldn’t be interesting if all the routes were based in the UK though, so Dovetail also picked a European and American route to feature with TS2015; New York to New Haven East Corridor with the Amtrak ACS-64 and the Amtrak Acela Express as well as the Munich to Garmisch-Partenkirchen route using the DB BR 426 EMU and the DB 411 ICE-T locomotives!
As always the base game is not just all on offer, and additional routes and locomotives are available to purchase from the in-game store.
Train Simulator 2015 is scheduled for a release September 18th, if you already own Train Simulator 2014 your game will get automatically upgraded to include all the new tech and TS Academy.
