Last night at the VGX awards CD Projekt Red showed off a little more of The Witcher 3, allowing people to see some more of the game as it's now been six months since the first gameplay trailer. Now it’s not as much as I got to see at E3, which was stunning, but it helps tease a little bit more of the game.

Even if you haven’t played the previous Witcher titles, you may want to think of picking up The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which will fill you in on all previous outings for Geralt, allowing you to pick up the game and know exactly what has happened if it were your first and not feel left out. However with the promising path the game has taken, it’s leaps and bounds ahead of what they’ve previously done, so you may want to play some of the previous games to see how fantastic the upcoming sequel or, or just wait it out.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is due for release on an unannounced date during 2014.
