Paradox Interactive and Arrowhead Game Studios have released new content for their fast paced action brawler The Showdown Effect that is available today for free to all players.

The update features two new levels; South Eastwood and Fort Fiesta inspired by classic spaghetti Westerns, with a little monster mash in the mix! Both levels are available right now for ranked and custom matches and come alongside two new characters, however surprisingly you won't find the man with no name in the roster.

Thelma Vaine, British super spy and Dr. Johnny Bionic, a cyborg who must fight every day to keep his drill-saw-arm from murdering the innocent join the gang, although you'll need the AC to unlock them, so sharpen those swords and get ready to roll, dive and jump to earn enough to unlock them and a series of Reddit costume pieces.

The Showdown Effect is available from all good digital distribution sites for the SRP of £7.99 and if you've a copy already you'll find that it has already been updated!
