Now everyone loves the serious and mature games that are released, in fact many of us relish in a great simulation, however there comes a time when gamers just want to let their hair down and let the crazy right on into their gaming space. Well our personal favourite for optimal mayhem is Saints Row, so we were tickled pink with the announcement of the latest game in the franchise. If you didn’t get a chance to see the new trailer, check it out below, unfortunately from the sounds of it, it'll be the last in the series though.

In Saints Row IV the story of the Third Street Saints is continued in just as ridiculous a way as it was left off, as the Saints now head up the White House after recently being elected to Presidency of the United States.

But a bigger seat means even larger-than-life adventure, so when aliens invade and transport the Saints to a bizarro-world are you really surprised? This simulation of Steelport allows you to weild superpowers to fight against the aliens in an attempt to free humanity.

It looks and sounds absolutely ridiculous, and we can’t wait!

Saints Row IV is scheduled for a release 23rd August 2013 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Windows PC, now all you’ll have to do is finish it before Grand Theft Auto V’s release.
