One of the best selling PC games of all time; RollerCoaster Tycoon is headed to the Nintendo 3DS. Chris Sawyer’s RollerCoaster Tycoon captivated disgruntled Theme Park players since 1999, and with over 11 million units sold, Atari are bringing the game back with 3D gameplay.

From constructing the wildest roller coasters to picking out the perfect spot for your stores and amenities amidst jam-packed crowds, you can finally enjoy the classic RollerCoaster Tycoon experience on a handheld device for the first time ever.

Don’t worry, this is not the only mode in the game, as it comes complete with the all important Park Sandbox, allowing you to play RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D in the same way you used to on the PC, where all that matters is your theme park, and how awesome it is, and you will be able to show all your friends how awesome it is too through the network sharing capabilities.
RollerCoaster Tycoon 3D will be available 2012 exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS, it will be interesting to see whether it lives up to the legendary RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and doesn’t just present us with a gimmicky shadow of the game, only time will tell.
