UIG Entertainment and Crafty Games have released a trailer showing off the gameplay of their upcoming return to the Realms of Arkania, the legendary RPG set in the extremely popular German RPG universe of The Dark Eye. Realms of Arkania — Blade of Destiny is the first game in what is proposed as a rehaul of the whole trilogy and will feature between 20-80 hours of gameplay depending on your play style.

Realms of Arkania — Blade of Destiny is a one-to-one remake of the 1992 original rpg that was adored by a generation of gamers and roleplaying fans, and was one of the most successful German RPGs of the 1990’s. Get ready to return to Thorwal one of the oldest cities of Aventurien on the verge of an Orcish assault.

Featuring a complete visual reimagining along with a comprehensive overhaul of every aspect of the original, Realms of Arkania — Blade of Destiny hopes to rekindle the love of The Dark Eye with a new audience, and old fans alike.

Realms of Arkania — Blade of Destiny is scheduled for a release at the end of June for Windows PC for the RRP of £14.99.
