2K Sports announced today that they have signed Ryan Kesler of the Vancouver Canucks and recent Winter Olympics Hero to feature as the cover athlete and spokesperson for the upcoming NHL 2K11

Kesler describes it as “a dream come true”, as he previously helped 2K out last year on NHL 2K10, but only with commercial shoots and motion capture.

NHL 2K11 will be available on Wii in the fall of 2010.
