Capcom today announced the most anticipated fighting game sequel is coming to light, that’s right, it’s been a decade since Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes graced our consoles on the Dreamcast, but the title that to some is one of the best fighting games ever made, has got a sequel heading our way in the near future. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is a re-envisioned team fighting game for a new generation; play as the most legendary characters from some of the best franchises in entertainment, with characters confirmed like; Chris Redfield, The Hulk, Ironman, Wolverine, Ryu, and Darkstalker’s Morrigan, although there is no actual gameplay yet, there is a teaser trailer which you can watch below.
Unsurprisingly Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is one of the most requested titles that Capcom are always asked about, and although it will probably not be 2D like its predecessor, if Street Fighter IV is anything to go by, then Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is going to be magnificent! Their development studio is already describing it as the ‘most epic fighting game ever developed’. I tell you what, we cannot wait!
