Not sure you want to know, well I think you do, because The Showdown Effect is almost ready to explode onto your humble computer screens, and we think you underestimate the scope of the game. Its violence and chaotic mayhem is a thing of beauty, well, it isn’t really, but it sure is pulse-pounding, and with its release next week, Paradox Interactive have released a trailer to show off the damn right awesome game in some slow-motion action.

If you pre-order the game before its release you’ll get the bonus character Hank Stream, the Fusion Sabre of Light. Or you could go all out and pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition with more skins, characters, costumes, an XP boost, the game soundtrack, hell it even comes with a giftable copy of Arrowhead’s previous game Magicka!
