Deep Silver have released the official English reveal trailer for the hotly anticipated Killer is Dead from Suda51’s Grasshopper Manufacture. Wait you've seen it before? No you haven't whilst this may seem as deja vu, the company have released the English trailer with the English voicecast, but does it really stand up against it's Japanese counterpart? Some things just aren't as cool when you've heard them before in a gravelly Japanese voice.

Killer is Dead is a gorgeous tale set in the not-so-distant future where executioner Mondo Zapper must find heinous criminals scatted around the world and beyond and execute them, exacting violence with the Japanese sword he holds in his right hand, and his interchangeable weapon in his artificial arm on his left.

Alongside Mondo is the usual sexy lady; British Vivienne Squall, she is just one of countless unusual characters created by the mind of a mad-man, as the trailer may suggest there could be connections to the brilliant Killer 7 hidden within, but it is without a doubt that this is looking like one of the most stylish looking cel-shaded games out there for a while.

Killer is Dead is scheduled for a worldwide release during Summer 2013 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, thanks to Kadokawa Games and Deep Silver!
