Scarygirl is the star of her own popular graphic novel created by artist Nathan Jurevicius, and Dr Maybee and the Adventures of Scarygirl will take gamers on a marvellous adventure through the Scarygirl universe. In the game you will attempt to discover the identity of the mysterious bearded man haunting her dreams.
With the help of Scarygirl’s friends; the quick-witted Bunniguru and Blister the giant octopus she’ll need to journey from her friendly treehouse in the forest to an overwhelmingly unfriendly city to locate Dr Maybee.

Oh yeah, did I mean that Scarygirl is part-octopus and dresses like a pirate, and has a tentacle for her right hand and only a bone for her left, sounds marvellously crazy huh?. Better yet, its also perfect for the completist in you all; each level is full of hundreds of gems, fish and other collectables for you to scavenge for.
Based on the online flash game produced by Passion Pictures Australia and with the assistance of the Film Victoria Digital Media Fund, Dr Maybee and the Adventures of Scarygirl is available now in North America exclusively for Playstation Plus users, and will be available to all August 16th. Here’s hoping for a European release on this quaintly strange looking game.
