With yesterday's BioShock Infinite related announcement things were looking pretty down in the world of games, however today things have brightened up as Dishonored; Arkane Studios and Bethesda Softworks little gem has been given a release date.

Dishonored is a bit of a mystery to most as we've seen little titbits of information and gameplay but nothing big showing the complexity of choice involved during the game. However with a launch date that gives them a few months to make a lot of noise we're sure that we'll get to see lots before the game's release. Making it possibly one of October's biggest games, although it does have to rival Assassin's Creed III.

"We are pleased that Dishonored has captured people's attention," said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. "We are looking forward to sharing lots more information about the game leading up to its launch in October, and having a hands-on build of Dishonored in our booth at E3!"

Dishonored is set for release on October 12th on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Windows, and we cannot wait to see the game in action at E3.
