Publishers Rising Star Games have solidified the details surrounding the elusive Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut. If you're unaware of the 'terrible' game that stole the hearts of gamer's across the world, it's the strangest game to come to the Xbox 360 in a long time, and is a loving Japanese take on American stereotypes, with quite a bit of influence from David Lynch's Twin Peaks.
The Deadly Premonition Director's Cut will be coming to the Playstation 3 and features a new scenario from the game's director 'Swery', HD graphics, a reworked control system, and downloadable content to expand on the mystery beyond the original game.
Deadly Premonition is an open-world experience like no other, and the only game to achieve such a wonderful and quirky world is Sega's Shenmue series. With a host of unique Greenvale locals, side quests, mini games and strange scenarios it is literally one of the best and inventive games to see a release in 2011.
You know you've been waiting for an excuse to revisit special agent Francis York Morgan, so why not go back and investigate the brutal murder of Anna Graham amidst the backdrop of the rolling mountains in the small American town of Greenvale. Even if you haven't played the game before, you will want to solve the mystery of the Red Seed Murders, because you won't see it coming!
Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut is currently scheduled for a release during Q1 2013 exclusively for Playstation 3, we just hope that all of the improvements do not take away from the irresistible charm of the original release.
