Namco Bandai Games and Volatile Games have officially confirmed that Dead to Rights: Retribution has gone gold! A re-imagining of the popular crime-action series that had its hey-day on the Playstation 2. Retribution puts players in the control of vice cop Jack Slate and his canine partner; Shadow, as they uncover a conspiracy that threatens to destroy Grant City; it’s no-holds-barred in this neo-noir journey.
Dead to Rights: Retribution promises a seamless combat system which will allow players fluid transition between third-person shooting, hand-to-hand combat and AI partner control. Players will also have the ability to control Shadow at various points during the game, interjecting a very different style of combat to Jack’s; tearing enemies apart with his attacks.
I don’t know about you but we were hooked at neo-noir, from the trailers we’ve seen Dead to Rights: Retribution looks to have evolved from the series’ simpler days, and is heading to Xbox 360 and PS3 on the 23rd of April 2010.
In case you missed the most recent trailers for Retribution here they are again.
