Newly formed Gone North Games have revealed a teaser trailer for their upcoming game A Story About My Uncle, a very interesting looking non-violent first-person platform adventure that centres on a young boy in search of his lost uncle, who finds himself in a world he never could have imagined. Check out the trailer.
What started off as a university project, A Story About My Uncle was nominated for Game of the Year in the Swedish Game Awards 2012, and a 'demo' has been available for download since 2012, the full game is set for a release in Summer 2014 and is being published by Coffee Stain Studios the developers behind the brilliant tower-defense hybrid Sanctum.
Non-violent games are a definite plus, and it's great to see such a surge of them flowing through Steam, hopefully A Story About My Uncle will be yet another brilliant addition to the gaming populace.
A Story About My Uncle is scheduled for a release during Summer 2014 for Windows PC via Steam, unfortunately you can no longer download the original 'demo' version of the game, so you'll just have to sit tight to experience the game at its full potential.
